About SCAILIUM

SCAILIUM is the AI Production Layer - the GPU-native software infrastructure that eliminates CPU bottlenecks, removes starvation, and guarantees GPU utilization for enterprise AI workloads. We operate at the intersection of deep systems engineering, power-constrained data centers, and large-scale GPU deployments.

Our Mission is simple and absolute: The GPU never starves.

The Role

We are hiring a foundational Product Manager to work directly with the CTO to define, develop, and externally evangelize SCAILIUM’s physics-aligned product.

This is a hybrid role: deep technical product ownership and outward-facing category evangelism.

You will translate engineering truth into customer value, OEM alignment, GSI blueprints, and market education. You must be as comfortable sitting with GPU-kernel engineers as you are presenting to Dell, NVIDIA, or a Fortune 100 platform architect.

This is not a classic B2B SaaS PM role.

This is deep tech + category creation + high-stakes outbound.

What You Will Own

1. Product Ownership (Internal)

  • Work directly with the R&D to shape the GPU-native roadmap for ingestion, vectorization, transformation, curation, and continuous production flow.
  • Define precise specifications, APIs, pipeline behavior, and physics-aligned constraints.
  • Ensure product features adhere to SCAILIUM’s rigid boundaries:
  • No orchestration. No system of record. No serving. No dashboards.
  • Enforce documentation rigor. Documentation is code.

2. Technical Outbound Leadership (External)

This is where the role becomes unique and high-impact:

  • Serve as a public-facing authority on GPU starvation, impedance incompatibility, and the AI Production Layer.
  • Lead technical sessions with Partners, OEMs (Dell, Supermicro, HPE), GSIs (Accenture, Deloitte), and strategic enterprise customers.
  • Conduct in-depth customer pipeline analyses to identify physical constraints and translate them into SCAILIUM features or patterns.
  • Present SCAILIUM’s architecture in a clear, authoritative, physics-grounded manner.
  • Support sales, partnerships, and field engineering by communicating the “why” behind every product decision.
  • Build artifacts that shape the category: reference architectures, workload blueprints, TCO models, and silicon saturation narratives.

3. Category Creation & Market Education

  • Protect and propagate the language of the category: Silicon Starvation, Impedance Incompatibility, Production Layer, Throughput-per-Watt.
  • Help enterprises understand that AI is manufacturing, not software.
  • Drive clarity across customers, partners, and internal GTM teams.
  • Ensure zero category confusion - every messaging and positioning artifact must reinforce SCAILIUM’s role as the missing layer.

What Success Looks Like

Within 6 months, you will have:

  • Delivered crisp, physics-aligned product specs directly with the CTO.
  • Launched or refined V1/V2 production flows for OEM and enterprise deployments.
  • Led multiple customer-facing deep dives that directly influenced roadmap priorities.
  • Established yourself as one of the strongest external voices representing SCAILIUM’s architecture.
  • Created reference architectures and technical narratives used by OEMs and GSIs.
  • Demonstrated measurable impact on customer outcomes: increased GPU utilization, reduced power waste, faster pipeline throughput.

Why Join SCAILIUM

This is a unique opportunity to:

  • Report directly to the CTO and influence the company’s most critical architectural decisions.
  • Help define a new infrastructure category for the next decade of AI.
  • Collaborate with world-class systems engineers to build technology that aligns with physics, rather than relying on legacy assumptions.
  • Lead technical conversations with the world’s largest OEMs, GSIs, and enterprise AI teams.
  • Shape the AI factory era - where data moves at silicon speed and power constraints become solvable.

Requirements

What You Bring

Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Solutions Architect in infrastructure, HPC, data systems, GPU/AI pipelines, or distributed systems.
  • Strong outbound / customer-facing skills: presenting to CTOs, architects, OEM teams, GSIs, and technical buyers.
  • Ability to operate at kernel-level conceptual depth and translate physics into product strategy.
  • Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal - with the ability to simplify complex GPU and dataflow concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive roadmap execution with engineering while also leading external discovery and evangelism.
  • Comfort owning both internal product discipline and external technical influence.

Bonus

  • Hands-on familiarity with GPU-native ecosystems (CUDA, Triton, cuDF, GPUDirect Storage).
  • Experience with enterprise pipeline technologies (Spark, Databricks, Kafka, warehouses/lakehouses).
  • Prior work with OEMs, GSIs, or large-scale on-prem / cloud AI deployments.
  • Experience defining a new category or launching V1 products.

Who You Are

  • Technically credible at a level where engineers and CTOs trust your reasoning.
  • A natural evangelist who can explain complex systems simply and convincingly.
  • Obsessed with clarity - you never hide behind jargon or ambiguity.
  • Physics-driven - you operate from first principles, not trends.
  • Production-minded - you think in pipelines, reliability, and throughput.
  • Comfortable in high-ambiguity environments and capable of turning uncertainty into structure.

You thrive in deep-tech environments where velocity and rigor must coexist.
