When one falls, we all fall; when one rises, we all rise.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>As a Financial Analyst on the Account Management team, you will serve as the primary data subject matter expert (SME) and the strategic bridge between our client-facing teams and the Data Analysis/Reporting department. Your mission is to translate complex pharmacy benefit data into actionable financial insights for our clients. You will be a trusted advisor to both internal Account Management leadership and client financial teams, ensuring that every strategic decision is backed by rigorous analysis and a deep understanding of SmithRx financial components.</p> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the resolution of complex client scenarios by conducting deep-dive data research and root-cause analysis.</li> <li>Partner with the account team to identify cost drivers, utilization shifts, and clinical opportunities within a client’s portfolio to recommend plan design changes that mitigate spend.</li> <li>Serve as the primary liaison between Account Management and the Reporting/Data Analyst teams to ensure client reporting needs are technically feasible and strategically sound.</li> <li>Interpret pharmacy claims data, trend analysis, and rebate projections to provide "the story behind the numbers" for client presentations and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).</li> <li>Oversee the integrity of client-facing financial reports, ensuring data aligns with contractual obligations and client expectations.</li> <li>Work on behalf of the Account Management team, collaborating with internal technical teams to improve automated reporting tools and identify product gaps based on client feedback and data limitations.</li> <li>Assess financial data for indicators of client attrition risk and work with Account Managers to develop data-driven mitigation strategies.</li> <li>Act as a data mentor to Account Managers, coaching them on how to interpret financial metrics and present data-heavy slides effectively.</li> <li>Participate in existing and prospective client meetings.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you will bring to SmithRx:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deep fluency in the pharmacy benefits space, including an understanding of AWP, NADAC, rebates, formulary impact, and pharmacy network modeling.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in data analysis, financial underwriting, or actuarial support within the healthcare and/or PBM industry.</li> <li>Strong command of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, modeling).</li> <li>The unique ability to translate "data-speak" into executive-level insights for C-suite leadership and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>A passion for solving difficult problems in partnership with both technical developers and account managers.</li> <li>An obsession with data accuracy and a disciplined work ethic that ensures deliverables are met with little to no direction.</li> <li>Ability to observe scenarios from the client’s financial point of view and provide proactive, honest, and transparent recommendations.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience required.</li> <li>Ability to travel approximately 15-20% to client meetings</li> </ul> <p><strong>What SmithRx Offers You:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Highly competitive wellness benefits including Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance and AD&amp;D Insurance</li> <li>Flexible Spending Benefits&nbsp;</li> <li>401(k) Retirement Savings Program&nbsp;</li> <li>Short-term and long-term disability</li> <li>Discretionary Paid Time Off&nbsp;</li> <li>Paid Company Holidays</li> <li>Wellness Benefits</li> <li>Commuter Benefits&nbsp;</li> <li>Paid Parental Leave benefits</li> <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li> <li>Well-stocked kitchen in office locations</li> <li>Professional development and training opportunities</li> </ul>
