The Opportunity

You will be responsible for the physical security and safety of Nutanix's staff, properties, and assets at our International (MEA) office locations, as well as home office personnel, travelers, and events. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all physical security and safety matters within the MEA region, delivering a strategic program that leverages advanced technology to align security with risk, business priorities, and company culture.

Based out of the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia office, you will also provide a support role for broader physical security and safety matters within the EMEA region.

About the Team

You will report directly to the EMEA Manager of Physical Security and Safety. Our team is dedicated to creating a safe and secure environment that enables our employees to perform at their best, driving efficiencies and quality improvements across the region.

Your Role

Security & Safety Operations: Conduct and coordinate physical security (manpower, access control, CCTV), safety protocols, and investigations for facilities, events, and travelers throughout MEA. You will physically respond to incidents in Riyadh and support remote incidents across the region.

Strategic Program Management: Manage the MEA operations budget and vendor relationships, defining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics to drive efficiency. You will also develop emergency response plans and lead the floor warden program for evacuations and health incidents.

Stakeholder & Vendor Relations: Establish strategic relationships with property management and business leadership in the MEA region. You will provide direction on service requirements and input into KPIs for cross-functional departments.

Systems & Technology: Plan and direct the installation of electronic security systems (CCTV, access control) and implement tools that provide real-time information on potential impacts to the region.

Compliance & Training: Support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure regulatory compliance. You will also document procedures, conduct surprise drills, and train Office Managers and Receptionists on relevant safety topics.

Partnership: Partnering closely with the workplace team in the region, as the two functions share the goal of maintaining a secure, compliant, and operational workplace, collaboration and support are part of business continuity planning.

Workplace Support: For any onsite support/validations requested by workplace staff in region related to landlord and property management companies and third-party service providers in key areas of operations.

What You Will Bring

Experience: A minimum of 8 years of combined experience in physical security or law enforcement, including at least 8 years of supervisory or management experience.

Technical Expertise: Knowledge of current security technology (Access Control, CCTV), specific threats/risks, and direct experience implementing and managing security system installations.

Operational Excellence: Proven ability to manage security challenges in a fast-paced environment, including budget management, vendor contract oversight, and emergency planning.

Communication & Influence: Excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy with the ability to engage effectively with Senior Management and communicate complex concepts clearly.

Education: BS/BA degree preferred (industry experience considered in conjunction with formal education).
