Program Manager - Global Presales Academy
Nutanix
Hungry, Humble, Honest, with Heart.
The Opportunity
This global role owns the execution and continuous evolution of the Systems Engineering (SE) Academy, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder alignment, field relevance, and program agility. The role ensures that Academy learning experiences—practicums, assessments, milestones, and progression—reflect real-world Sales Engineer expectations and prepare participants for successful transitions into field roles.
Operating at the intersection of Presales Enablement, Field Leadership, and Technical SMEs, this role is responsible for translating field insight into actionable program improvements. Success in this role requires strong stakeholder management, structured signal-gathering, and the ability to operationalize feedback into an already agile Academy model.
About the Team
Worldwide Solution Sales at Nutanix is a global organization of 750+ professionals across 48 countries. Sales Engineers are trusted advisors to customers, providing consultative and technical guidance across a broad portfolio of cloud, infrastructure, and platform solutions.
The Systems Engineering Academy is a strategic investment in building a diverse, future-ready presales talent pipeline—grounded in real SE work, not theoretical training. You will report to the Senior Manager, Sales Strategy, who values open communication and fosters a supportive environment for growth and development. This role ensures the SE Academy remains tightly connected to the reality of the field—evolving as the SE role evolves, and producing talent that is credible, capable, and confident on day one in their next role.
The work setup is hybrid, with a requirement to be in the office three days a week, allowing flexibility while still promoting face-to-face collaboration. Additionally, you can expect travel requirements of up to 20 percent, as engaging with clients and participating in key events is integral to our success and team cohesion.
