Job Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst assists with the financial planning processes, including the annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans for key business units. This highly visible role will report to the Director of FP&A and will work with other senior leadership.

This position delivers analysis and interpretation of financial trends requiring management’s attention and will assist with model generation and analysis to support theories.

The right candidate will help drive business insights, bring a quantitative, data-driven mindset, and be able to effectively communicate findings.

What you will own:

  • Assist with annual and quarterly budget processes, including developing key assumptions, working with business partners to ensure budgets are appropriate and that operational partners establish action plans that achieve the necessary financial outputs

  • Assist with development of the 3- and 5-year long-range plans.

  • Assist with analyses to help business units better understand financial trends and financial opportunities (e.g., cost savings, business development, etc.)..

  • Primary interface with FP&A team and business partners to ensure appropriate cost control, accurate forecasting, and insightful business understanding

  • Work with business intelligence and accounting tools and team members to extract relevant data

  • Build outstanding and effective relationships with cross-functional teams

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • 5 years relevant experience

  • Bachelor's - preferably finance/accounting

  • Accounting/audit background a plus

  • Tech/FinTech background a plus

  • Strong financial data analytics and interpretation

  • Experience with finance/accounting software (NetSuite/SAP)

  • Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Worked with Domo/Tableau/Adaptive Planning
