We’re looking for an experienced Tax Advisor who loves being in the weeds and thinking strategically — someone who can file, advise, and partner closely with founders and CEOs of venture and private equity–backed companies.

This is a multi-client role where you’ll own tax work end-to-end while serving as a trusted advisor to high-growth businesses. You won’t just prepare returns — you’ll help shape decisions, anticipate issues, and guide companies through complex tax situations as they scale.

You’ll work alongside operators, CFOs, and founders who value clear communication, strong judgment, and someone who feels like part of their internal team.

Whether you have 5 hours a week to add to your book or are looking for a full-time workload, this role fits into our flexible 1099 expert model.

You’ll manage and file tax returns for multiple VC and PE-backed clients while advising on structure, compliance, and planning. You’ll partner directly with founders and leadership teams, helping them navigate growth, funding events, and operational tax questions. You’ll spot risks early, communicate clearly, and bring calm to complex situations.

This role is both strategic and hands-on — perfect for someone who wants ownership, variety, and meaningful relationships with the companies they serve.

• 5+ years of tax experience (public accounting or advisory background preferred)
• Strong experience with VC and PE-backed companies
• Comfortable owning tax work end-to-end (planning through filing)
• Experience advising founders, executives, or finance leaders
• Multi-client environment experience
