Job Description
We are looking for a Group Product Manager to join our growing product team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small team of product managers while also directly managing a key area of our product. You'll play a crucial role in executing our product roadmap, mentoring team members, and contributing to innovation in the investment funds tech space.
As a group product manager at FundGuard you will:
- Manage and mentor a team of product managers, guiding their professional development and ensuring alignment with company goals
- Directly own a major area of the FundGuard product, including requirements definition, execution, and launch for one development team
- Oversee product execution across multiple development teams, ensuring cohesion and alignment with overall company objectives
- Contribute to product initiatives that expand the FundGuard platform and address evolving needs in the fund accounting and post-trade operations space
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including R&D, sales, customer success and senior leadership) to build the right product features
- Balance short-term tactical needs with long-term vision, making informed trade-offs in an agile environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager, with at least 2 years managing other product managers
- Must have strong knowledge and experience in financial markets, particularly in areas such as fund accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Proven track record of successfully delivering B2B SaaS products
- Experience in mentoring and developing product managers
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand and drive complex product flows
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, dealing with ambiguity and setting direction independently
Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge and interest in financial markets, investment operations or fund administration processes
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Previous experience in a technical role (e.g., developer, QA, analyst)
