Angle Health is a full-stack health insurance carrier launching tech-enabled health plans designed for startups. Angle’s health plans will provide affordable coverage tailored to the healthcare needs of the modern employee.

Job Description

Changing Healthcare For Good
At Angle Health, we believe the healthcare system should be accessible, transparent, and easy to navigate. As a digital-first, data-driven health plan, we are replacing legacy systems with modern infrastructure to deliver our members the care they need when they need it. If you want to build the future of healthcare, we'd love for you to join us.

The Account Manager owns the renewal business for our employer groups and partners. This role will work cross-functionally with our Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data Teams to create a seamless onboarding experience while also working to continuously improve the overall product experience. You will be the primary point of contact for employer administrators and brokers providing education and support.

Core Responsibilities

    • Manage the initiation of client and internal meetings, facilitate discussion, gathering of critical information with the client and producer, and timing of deliverables
    • Accountable for member group escalations of claims and eligibility
    • Create and maintain workstream project plans, status reporting, and documentation, including but not limited to decisions, risks, issues, and change control
    • Collaborate across workstreams understanding work interdependencies and the associated schedule implications
    • Utilize critical thinking to assess risks proactively, prioritize issues, and work based on impact
    • Communicate to stakeholders effectively and concisely
    • Creatively problem solve and identify process improvements always driving towards operational excellence
    • Prepare and present quarterly reports for business reviews

What We Value

    • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, digital health, employer benefits, and other related industries
    • Active producer license
    • Superior customer service and communication skills
    • Patient and professional demeanor when handling challenging clients
    • Analytical, creative, and compassionate approach to problem solving
    • Intellectual curiosity—surface level answers don't do it for you. You dive into the details and the data because you're not satisfied until you get to the root cause or attain a fundamental understanding of whatever it is you're working on
    • A strong and dedicated work ethic—someone who takes pride in the quality and output of their work
    • Growth mindset with a willingness to not only learn, but also teach, lead, and follow
    • An ability to operate autonomously and adapt in fast-changing environments
    • A passion for democratizing access to healthcare and disrupting the status quo
    • Experience with ZenDesk and Jira is a plus
Because We Value You:

• Competitive compensation and stock options
• 100% company-paid comprehensive health, vision & dental insurance for you and your dependents
• Supplemental Life, AD&D and Short-Term Disability coverage options
• Discretionary time off
• Opportunity for rapid career progression
• Relocation assistance (if relocation is required)
• 3 months of paid parental leave and flexible return to work policy (after 10 months of employment)
• Work-from-home stipend for remote employees
• Company provided lunch for in-office employees
• 401(k) account
• Other benefits are coming soon!
