Job Description
FundGuard is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our core platform infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in shaping the technology stack and architecture of our cutting-edge financial services platform.Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable and reliable platform infrastructure to support our financial services applications
- Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality code and maintain best practices in software development
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the platform
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our platform
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant work experience with big-data technologies, such as Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Redis, Hadoop, MongoDB.
- Experience in OOP (Java / Python / C#).
- Experience with large, distributed information systems, building, and scaling data pipelines
- Strong passion for details and tackling complex tasks.
- Team player, fast learner and has a “get things done” attitude.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
- Computer science degree from a leading university and/or technological intelligence units graduate

- Experience working with Kubernetes
- Experience working with Spring Framework
- Financial understanding
- Experience working with Dockers
- Operational, systems, and networking knowledge
