Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Sales Executive to join our big data company specializing in petascale analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue by prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in selling big data or analytics solutions, with a demonstrated track record of success in this category.


  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets for your assigned territory
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities, including high-value enterprise accounts and strategic partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts
  • Lead sales presentations and product demonstrations to articulate the value proposition of our petascale analytics solutions
  • Collaborate with our marketing and product teams to create compelling sales collateral and messaging
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals and drive revenue growth
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive offerings to inform sales strategies and tactics


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience selling big data or analytics solutions, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong understanding of the petascale analytics market, including key players, trends, and customer needs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Proven ability to prospect, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and energy
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
