Job Description

Backend developers at SeaLights are responsible for shaping and improving the development of the SeaLights Platform, by writing microservices using Typescript, Java, Node.Js PG, MongoDB, Snowflake DB, and much more.

You’ll collaborate with Front End Engineers, Agent Developers, Customer Success Engineers, Product, and other functional areas of the company.

What you’ll do

    Develop the SeaLights Platform (SaaS hosted on AWS).
    Design & Develop a Public APIs ecosystem and Micro Services, which can hold high-paced, high-throughput consumption.
    Integrating with industry-standard development platforms like Jira, CI Tools, Build Servers, IDEs.
    Work closely with our Product, UX, Customer Success, and Front End engineers to deliver an outstanding product. Come and make a difference!
    Be part and contribute to our Engineering culture: Produce production-grade code by automation processes, pair programming, code reviewing, and writing tests; Participate in brainstorming sessions, and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products.

What you have

    2+ years of experience working as a NodeJS Backend Developer.
    Experience working on SaaS-based products, from design to implementation.
    Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
    Highly accountable and independent.
    Passion for code craftsmanship.

Extra edge

    BSc Computer Science, Mathematics, or any related degree or equivalent experience.
