Vice President of Sales, EMEA

 

What you will be doing 

We're seeking a highly competitive, data and results-driven executive with an open, collaborative and team-based approach to leadership and management. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and indirectly to the Managing Director EMEA, you will act as a key member of the EMEA Leadership team, having responsibility for direct sales, channel sales, sales development, strategic partnerships, pre-sales, and sales operations. In collaboration with the MD EMEA, you will build and develop a high performing and winning Regional Sales Team. 
 
As VP of Sales for EMEA you will be responsible for delivering the revenue through the productivity and effectiveness of the Regional Sales Team. You will collaborate and work closely with the Regional Solution Engineers and Business Development Representatives to achieve aggressive growth. You will foster close working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the sales organization’s efficient operations and success. You will grow a team of sales professionals based in different markets across the region.  

 

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Leading all aspects of the sales effort including prospecting, opportunity qualification, contract negotiation and customer success hand-off.
  • Building and leading a high performing sales team using WorkJam’s global sales process while coordinating the regional plan with the MD EMEA.
  • Ensuring the attainment of assigned sales quotas by leading the sales process and providing direction and recommendations to improve sales.
  • Ensuring you and your team are product knowledge experts to identify solutions and therefore sales opportunities across our prospective customer portfolio. 
  • Driving sales strategy, taking initiative to implement best practices and programs that will enable the team to achieve and surpass quotas.
  • Maintaining a high level of pipeline, funnel, and CRM discipline to ensure accurate forecasting at every stage of the sales process.
  • Support the MD EMEA in preparing content for the annual planning process.
  • Building scalable and repeatable processes for the sales team sharing best practice with other regions.  
  • Maintaining impeccable sales data quality in our CRM providing regular reports and forecasts to the CRO and the MD EMEA to support QBR’s and LE forecasting.  

 

What we are looking for

  • A proven track record of building and scaling high performing sales teams across one or more of the EMEA countries. 
  • A proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Passion for developing and mentoring sales talent.
  • B2B SaaS experience (SMB, vertical SaaS and/or Payments is an asset).
  • Strong understanding of SaaS or subscription business models.
  • Natural results-oriented leader with inherent personal drive, ability to navigate ambiguity, operate effectively in a hyper-growth start-up environment, and motivate a team of high performing individuals.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate compelling value propositions of our products.
  • Previous growth stage company experience is desirable.
