What your role will be 
 
As a FP&A Professional / Financial Controller, you are part of the finance team, supporting all our business units with analytical capacity on revenue, expenditures, budget and forecast topics in order to drive Wunder’s strategic decisions for the company.
 
You’re not just process-oriented but enjoy implementing and working within structures whilst focusing on optimisation and facilitation of ongoing costs. You will work closely with our business unit leaders and different stakeholders within the company. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a testament to your love for productivity and effectiveness. You’re an individual contributor who loves helping their teammates and others achieve their own goals, too.

What you will do

    • Work together with our Leadership Team and our Business Units on forecasts, liquidity plans and budgets and their implementation
    • Create and develop sophisticated financial and operating models 
    • Collaborate with the data team to automate key financial datasets and ensure consistency of data 
    • Prepare and maintain operational metrics and monthly performance reporting
    • Effectively communicate and present (complex) data to various stakeholders 
    • Analyse expenditures & seek for ways to optimise them

What you bring to the table

    • 1-3 years of relevant working experience in finance, controlling or analytics, preferably in a fast-paced environment
    • University degree in finance, economics or data science, or equivalent practical experience
    • Highly skilled in utilising MS Excel, Google Sheets, or similar
    • Native or proficient in English and a high level of German 
    • Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills, with a focus on attention to detail
    • Proactivity, possessing a high degree of intellectual curiosity and self-drive
    • Ability to work independently but collaboratively in a dynamic environment

What gives you bonus points

    • Experience working in investment banking, a Big Four accounting firm, management consulting or growth startup
    • Knowledge of relevant scripting language such as SQL or other financial modeling skills
